Gerusalemme, 2008

“ Without the help of a guidebook, transported by the early morning prayers, I loved the feeling of getting lost in the quiet neighborhoods and the secret streets of the old City, at that time of the day inhabited only by the locals. It was a deep pleasure to be the only stranger and to encounter on my path elderly people sitting at the corner of the shops sipping their morning coffee and children wandering around with their fathers. I felt happily condemned to get trapped by the antique traditions.”
